Community Crunch 420: Club ARK Update, Mod Spotlight, and more!

This week we’re going to dive into a fun update for Club ARK, the final chapter of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition on the Switch, a special mini-event to celebrate the Olympics and more!

Mark your calendars for July 31st as we roll out our latest update, packed with brand-new mini-games that are sure to delight and challenge. We’re also happy to share that we’ve addressed a pain point for players by adding Artifacts to Club ARK that will be available via the spinning wheel!

Additionally, we’re introducing a wardrobe, consumables, and a dino store—with a chance to get a rare color for your dino! Also, a new item will be added to the weapon and armor stores: a limited use consumable Repair Kit, which can repair items on the go—one repair kit for weapons and one for each armor piece.

Our partners at Grove Street Games are putting the final touches on Genesis Part 2 to make it absolutely perfect for you. The new release date is July 31st, with the launch in Japan following on August 5th. Alongside this exciting release, get ready to encounter the incredible Rhyniognatha, which will be spawning around The Island. And mark your calendars for the trailer premiere on July 31st, right before launch!

With this release, ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition has been completely delivered on the Nintendo Switch!

Transfers on The Center Official servers are now open! Players can now move items, creatures, and characters onto the map without restriction!

On April 8th, we deployed a new type of server across the network (for the various game types) that we refer to as “Expire” (which is what you can search for in the session filter).

These servers will be online until 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on August 3rd. We’re preemptively using our allocation for Aberration to host some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience The Center Gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto The Center temporarily.

Please note that these servers will no longer exist after 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on August 3rd, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date, as nothing will be saved beyond that time period.

To celebrate athletes around the world showcasing their incredible efforts, the Official Network will receive bonus rates every weekend and Summer Games-inspired colors during the whole event from July 26th to August 12th!
Bonus rates will be active until Monday, July 29th, but the colors will stay!
