By participating in any IG activity – or taking part in the IG online community – you automatically agree to abide by our terms and conditions.
We employ a range of measures to support the management and maintenance of the community and to enhance the aversion of harm and abuse toward all community members. Additionally, these policies and regulations have been put in place to prevent criminal activity and misuse. These rules are subject to updates, reviews and changes appertaining to the community’s development; therefore, you will be responsible for regular re-examinations of this page – ignorance does not create an exemption to the rules on your part.
IG rules, regulations and policies are enforced by our various administrators and moderators. They will be treated with the respect and consideration they deserve, as they are doing this demanding job free of charges and are working hard to establish a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere for everyone.

1. Accounts
1.1. Usernames, Nicknames, Display Names
Users have the right to set their own nickname on the Insinuation Gaming Discord Server and Website. During creation, be considerate of others as to whether your chosen name could be perceived as an offence.
Chosen names will not be:
- Rude
- Offensive
- Racist
- Sexist
- Blank
- Using another users nickname or mocking another user
- Using any form of coding to customise your name
- Using multiple symbols
If you nickname is deemed offensive, either by the view of the administrator or moderators – or is reported by another member – the administrators and moderators are entitled to change your username, nickname or display name.
Repeat offences will result in a removal of the right to determine your own username, nickname or display name – or even the removal from the community altogether.
1.2. Profile Pictures
It is your responsibility to ensure that your chosen profile picture is not:
- Rude
- Offensive
- Racist
- Sexist
- Sexually Explicit
- An Infringement of Copyright Laws
Disregard of the above is not acceptable and could result in a temporary ban or – in severe cases – your removal from the community.
2. Conduct and Behaviour
2.1. General Expectations
As a member of the IG community, you will be required to abide by one golden rule: Treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself.
This implies that there will be none of the following when dealing with other members or outsiders:
- Bullying
- Toxicity
- Aggression
- Violence
- Hate Speech
- Racism
- Sexism
- Coercion
- Blackmail
- Theft of intellectual or physical property
- Any other form of criminal activity
Disregard of the above is not acceptable and will result in a temporary ban or – in severe or repeat cases – your removal from the community.
2.2. Unwanted Content
As the IG Community welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds, please be mindful of the content you post. If you have to ask whether the content is offensive – it probably is. Our community managers will review all content and you are more than welcome to validate any content with them before posting it or sending it to another member.
In general, do not post, send, mention, share or link any of the following on this website or any other IG platform:
- Disturbing images, audio material or writing of e.g. shootings, murders, dissections, etc.
- Any content promoting xenophobia, homophobia, racism or any other form of discrimination or hatred towards a group of people or individuals
- Pornographic material in any way, shape or form.
- If you would like to share innuendos or lewd jokes, there is a NSFW channel provided. However, we will not tolerate uploading, sharing, linking or otherwise distributing pornographic material.
If there is evidence that you have been distributing or sharing unwanted material on our platforms despite clear instructions and warnings – or if we become aware that you are distributing said material via private messages on any of our platforms – you will temporarily be banned from the community platforms. Repeat offenders will be summarily deleted.
This policy does not apply to the distribution of pornographic material, which will automatically lead to a permanent exclusion from the community; and, in dire cases, a referral to the police.
3. Media and Streaming
3.1. Submissions
Insinuation Gaming welcomes submissions of gameplay, videos, pictures, etc. from our members. Be aware that any content posted on the website may be re-posted on the community’s various social media sites.
Any submissions of media will be of your own and will be appropriate to all viewers; or will have an age rating. Any media will, also, comply with all legal obligations, such as copyright laws.
3.2. Advertisements
Any IG member is welcome to promote their stream or blog on any of our platforms, however, this will need to be done in moderation and with consideration of others.
We will not accept constant self-promotion. You are welcome to advertise the event you would like to promote as a new topic in the forum, but you will not create any further posts on this event within the next 7 days. Be advised that there are no exceptions to this rule for short-notice posts.
Furthermore, there will be no off topic advertisements or promotion of brands and companies. It is at our moderators discretion whether your posts are suitable or not and there will be no appeals once an advertisement has been removed.
4. Timeouts and Bans
Community managers and moderators are entitled to temporarily revoke your access to community platforms if they deem it necessary. In cases longer than 24 hours, there is an appeals process that can be invoked. You can access this form by opening the community page and proceeding to the “Make an Appeal” page. You do not need to be logged in as a member to follow through with this process.
Generally, you will always be informed of the reason for your timeout or ban as well as of the duration. Be assured that moderators and managers will conduct an impartial investigation before any actions are taken.
5. Appeals and Complaints
5.1. Making an Appeal
If there should ever be a time when you find yourself temporarily – or permanently – banned, excluded or deleted from any of our platforms, you have the right to make an appeal. This means that any ban, timeout or exclusion longer than 24 hours will be reviewed. Additionally, you will be informed about the decision made on your case as soon as possible.
You can appeal a maximum of two times. Your second appeal will be escalated to the community leaders who will render final judgement on the matter. Therefore, any further appeals will be rejected.
Making an appeal is a simple process which can be completed without access through the member section. You will need to open our community website and click on the “Appeals Form” at the very bottom. Alternatively, you can follow this link: http://insinuationgaming.co.uk/index.php/appeals-form/.
5.2. Making a Complaint
If, at any point in time, you feel the need to make a complaint against (another) member(s) or a moderator, you can make a formal complaint – providing that you hold evidence to back up your claim.
A complaint may be registered through our complaint form only. We will not accept hearsay or a deluge of messages directed at our moderators or managers in private messages or voice channels. Should you attempt to relay a complaint in said way, you will be redirected to our complaint form. Any complaints without evidence provided will be rejected immediately.
Making a complaint does not take long and you do not need to be an internal member to make one: open up our community website and click on “Complaint Form” at the bottom of the page”. If you are unable to find this, you can access the form via: http://insinuationgaming.co.uk/index.php/complaint-form/
